I'm from Chicago, Illinois and have been using contact lenses and glasses since Junior High School.  LASIK always sounded "too good too be true" type of thing....so I let all my friends get the surgery first and see what they say.  Everyone I know has only great things to say.  So I gathered some content on the subject for anyone considering this corrective eye surgery.
